  • ·         When promoting a product, you should not use “I think” or “I might”, etc.
  • ·         Don’t just describe your product and say it’s awesome, say why it’s awesome.
  • ·         Use Adjectives: positive, dynamic, avoid clichés and overused language
  • ·         Adverbs and other modifiers
  • ·         Verbs: active verbs, simple verb forms
  • ·         Incredibly boring sentence: “I believe that people might be interested in a concept like this one. Vs. “Conscientious people believe in existentialism.”
  • ·         Be specific
  • ·         Avoid self-reference
  • ·         Make paper more exciting first, then bring in more details later

My brief definition of Affirmative Action:
I don’t really know many details about it, but I’ll just tell you what I know. It is the government helping the racial minorities in our country gets jobs and admittance to certain programs. This is in place to help counteract the past discrimination of certain races.

My opinion of Affirmative Action
For the most part, I believe that Affirmative Action is good thing. However, I do think that in some ways it is flawed. I feel that some people may try and take advantage of the system. Though I believe there are far more people who don’t abuse it than people that do. Overall,  I think that some things could be change but for now I feel that it is a good measure to help disadvantaged minorities.
